This year we will be participating in the Day of the Archives for the first time. Together with the Sächsisches Wirtschaftsarchiv Leipzig we will demonstrate a digitisation workplace in practice for interested visitors and answer questions about it.
High-end digitization at the Sächsisches Wirtschaftsarchiv Leipzig
For digital preservation and to enable easier access to documents, originals or archives, the company CDS Gromke e.K. will show in a live presentation the high-end digitization of originals in theSächsisches Wirtschaftsarchiv Leipzig. The non-contact process produces high-resolution digital copies in order to preserve the original and, for example, to make content visible for scientific research that would otherwise be difficult to recognize.
We are available for questions and joint discussions during the digitisation process and look forward to a lively interest in this topic.
