OpenCulture 2012 in London

Digital Asset Management in museums was one of the latest topics at the OpenCulture 2012 in London.

OpenCulture is an international conference and trade fair for museum technology and software and is held annually. It is organised by the independent British organisation, the Collections Trust, which helps museums, galleries, libraries and archives to successfully develop the potential of their collections.

[full]Highly interesting presentations set the scene for an evaluation of the current climate and included analysis of sample successful projects as well as predictions for the future of collections and their digital images. During the breaks there was brisk business at the stands of service providers where the hottest topics were heatedly debated. In this way, Open Culture provided an excellent platform for updating one’s own knowledge base and evaluating own activities.
